Postcards from seattle

I have fallen in love with the Pike Place Market the first time I visited it over a decade ago. In January of this year, I had a chance to travel to Seattle again for business. In the 3 nights and 4 days I was in this city, I went to the Pike Place Market every single day in between my meetings. Pike Place was less than a 15 minute walk from the Grand Hyatt where I stayed.

Why do I love the Pike Place Market?

Well, there is plenty to love. There is something about farmers markets that I find romantic. I love the idea of hardworking people who toil to bring fresh produce on our table, bakers who bake freshly baked breads, artisans who bring us bottled jams, etc. Pike Place has plenty of all of these and more. Pike Place is located by the waterfront and has breathtaking view. It is a haven for adventurous food lovers. In between stalls are arts and crafts. Pike Place has history. Pike Place was cozy at night and bustling in the day time. Here are my photos of this market. I hope to go back again soon.
