Food Crush #7: In-N-Out Burger

My last meal of 2014 was an In-N-Out burger. (I skipped the fries as my first attempt to eat healthier in the coming new year.)

My family and I were on our way to Reno, NV to ring in the New Year. We drove separately but my sister’s family with my parents caught up with me and the BF on the freeway. It was fun meeting them at In N Out in Auburn, CA which was 2 hours away from Reno.  My mom and dad, the BF and I, my sister, brother-in-law and my nephew sat down  for a quick snack. It was a nice break despite the temperature dropping to 12° and freezing our butts off. 🙂

This reminds me of the many fun family excursions we had in the Philippines. The pit stops were part of the fun for stretching, eating and shopping for snacks.

As for the hamburger, it was delicious! I hardly eat burgers and I do not think I even ate one in 2014. Okay, I ate a couple of sliders but they do not count. 😉 Whenever I do eat a burger, it has to be worth it. In N Out is a fast food but I would eat this burger again! The beef was slightly crisp on the outside but it was still juicy. So worth it for mere few dollars and some change.

(My dad liked it so much that he wants to bring some back to the Philippines when they go back. Umm, 12-hour-on-the-plane-burgers?! Good luck but my family has iron stomach!)
