Gott’s roadside

199 Reasons to Visit the San Francisco Ferry Building:

#108: Gotts Roadside (SF)

Gotts Roadside is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and “New American style” comfort food. The bright and spacious upscale “diner” overlooks Embarcadero.

I truly enjoyed my meal of ahi tuna tacos. Not necessarily cheap at $13.50 per order (3 heaping tacos) but they were fresh and light. A little bit more of the crema salsa would have made them better.  Paired with a generously poured red $9, I had the perfect meal!

Gotts seems to be known for hamburger and Straus milkshake but there are plenty of comfort food items with a California twist.

This is The Spot and I will be back here to spend a quiet afternoon in the City.
